General Performance - 2:

ATI's RD580: ASUS A8R32-MVP Deluxe General Performance - 2
Processing 162 images with the ASUS A8R32-MVP in CrossFire mode was a second faster than the RD480-based A8R-MVP motherboard. In single card mode, the A8R32 was as impressive as it was in dual-card mode. In fact, the board proved to be slightly faster in dual card mode. Having said that, It was the fastest board by less than 1%, meaning that we're well inside a margin for error in the test.

ATI's RD580: ASUS A8R32-MVP Deluxe General Performance - 2
For some reason, all boards suffered from additional CPU overhead when running in dual card mode. The ASUS A8R32-MVP was the fastest board in single card mode, but was about 1% slower than the A8N32-SLI Deluxe in dual card mode. You're not going to notice a great deal of difference between any of these motherboards in this particular test - there were no frames dropped in the WMV9 HD stream.
